Knitting Department
In 2017, Promar significantly enhanced its knitting capabilities by adding five new state-of-the-art machines—comprising 3 fleece machines, 1 ribbing machine, and 1 electronic jacquard interlock machine. This expansion brought the total number of knitting machines in our newly equipped, climate-controlled knitting facility to 18. Our advanced knitting room operates under optimal conditions to ensure both high productivity and superior fabric quality, producing approximately 4,500 kilograms of fabric daily. The facility is equipped with a diverse range of machines tailored to various fabric types, including 10 fleece machines, 2 jersey machines, 3 interlock machines, and 3 ribbing machines. This versatile machine lineup allows us to meet a wide array of production needs efficiently, supporting the creation of premium knit fabrics across multiple applications. The investment in cutting-edge technology and a comfortable working environment underscores Promar’s commitment to innovation, quality, and operational excellence.
At Promar, we produce a wide range of knitted fabrics in-house, including 3-yarn fleece, 2-yarn fleece, single jersey, double jersey, pique, interlock, various types of ribbing, and spacer fabric. This diverse selection allows us to meet the demands of a broad client base across different markets and end-uses.
While our core fabric types are manufactured internally, we also work with trusted subcontractors for certain specialty fabrics. However, in every case, the yarn is exclusively sourced and supplied by Promar to ensure consistency in quality, traceability, and performance across all production lines.
As part of our rigorous quality assurance process, each roll of greige (raw) fabric undergoes thorough inspection before being dispatched to the dye house. This critical control point allows us to identify and eliminate potential defects early in the process, guaranteeing that only fabrics that meet our strict quality standards proceed to the next stage of production.
Our commitment to high standards, traceable materials, and precise fabric engineering helps us deliver reliable, high-performance textiles to some of the world's most demanding brands.
